News and Updates / Re: Marathon 2013: Holy Smokes, It's Over!

A part of me wishes that my donations were counter-donations for this sort of stuff, since no man should go through this.

I am sad. ;-;

Which charities did you e-mail? It would help to know so I'd know who not to bother with something you brought up.

I can sing "Catch Me If You Can" if I get enough donations during my run prior to the credits. Hell, if I can get enough I'll do it for both credits.

Nice to know that's cleared up. I swear, Arizona has to be so different sometimes.

So if I live in Arizona, I'd be playing at 3PM or 1PM? (I'm always lost on this subject)

Put me down for maybe right now. Personal crap is getting in the way, so it might take time for a stream test, much less plan out playthroughs and strategies. I can still participate in online multiplayer if I have time; Xbox 360 for ASR & ASRT.

I can stream Ristar regardless though. I'll see about Sonic Before The Sequel too if I can get it running at a decent framerate.

I understand that it might be a good cause, but it does undermine the seriousness of the charity drive by going with a charity with more novelty than some of the more heavy hitters.

Sonic Riders (GC) and Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed(360). Donation wars for characters used, weather or not I'll sing Sonic Speed Riders and the usual karaoke. Also you can throw me in for Sonic And Sega All Stars Racing too if you need bodies for multiplayer and singers.

I'm all for Cancer, but Peace & International Relations sounds pretty good too.

Hyrdrocity Zone, because it's a mix of fast and slow segments, and they're not too much of a pain.

If I can get settled down by then I can do Sonic Riders (singing included) and All Stars racing Transformed. You can throw me in on All Stars Racing too if you need some community effort.

I didn't make it that far. I stopped when the "concept" acting started.

The water starter is cute. Also when's the next Colosseum game? That and XD were awesome.

Playing a video game 24 hours straight would be a bit much even for me. Maybe, but only if I get $40 worth of Samoas.

A "Screw, Kill, Marry" for the next one. Umbreon, Paraxade0, Thorn.

Why just to 2013 when we can go all the way to 2016?

On a serious note, I will vie for SASRT and Riders champion and maybe get somewhere.

Randomized? Go left, plane. Go right, boat. Sorted. As for waves... Come on really. You use whatever you can in this game.
I never noticed that about Race of Ages. As for waves, I thought someone was going to bitch about it.

Xbox Live Gamertag: Pr0fraine

Friend me so I know how badly I suck unless they move Sonic Heroes onto the Xbox, then maybe I might get kinda good...

Maybe we could put the DLC in the Freestyle section for now if they don't release enough of them to make their own category.

As for modes:

- Time Attack is where you try to get as fast of a lap time as possible. You can keep racing for as long as you want.
- Free Race is a standard three lap race.
- Grand Prix has you do four three lap races in a row. You cannot start over a race; only the entire Grand Prix.
- World Tour doesn't record anything, so we'd be in the same position we were in for Black Knight.

All the modes can be played on local multiplayer except for Time Attack. Also, Race of Ages has a section that is randomized, so would we add it in? I understand that some stages with water might has big waves every now and then that you can trick off of, but the entire last section of a track is a bit excessive.

TSC Race Night / Re: Hack Night 1

Amy, RR & Megamix. I want to say BtS too, but in it's current state Perilous Paradise is almost impossible without a top notch computer.

EDIT: Would Sonic 3 Master Stages be okay?

Wikkity! / Re: What do you wanna see in a video game?
« on: August 17, 2012, 12:31:06 am »
 - Endings that aren't all perfect (like Mass Effect 3 & Final Fantasy XIII-2)
 - Less random generic dubstep refrains
 - Cheat codes
 - Customizable soundtrack options

General Sonic / Re: Hardest level to S-Rank?
« on: August 04, 2012, 04:39:22 pm »
I had to get a perfect on Metal Harbor Mission 1 to A-rank that stage. Otherwise, only the missions on Generations and all of Unleashed (PS3/360) are problematic for me.

Unless we're counting '06, where it wins cause it wants to.

Aren't the ring layouts for each act shared between each timezone? Still, I up for more challenges.

There's too many Sonic CD skins!!

Construction Tower Zone's from Crackers, not CD. Besides, Chaotix does need some love.

I don't know if anyone in charge would be interested in this, but one day I was bored and decided to took some sprites from Gamenerd Advance and did this.

I used the Stardust Present layout as a template. The background color should be #6060A0.

« on: December 23, 2011, 05:45:54 am »
Flying over MM2 end with Tails yeahhhhhh~

Cause you could never do that with Sonic, right.

The main thing I see as a problem is that Tails can't be selected for stage select. Thus, you'd have to start a new save with Tails every time you wanted to play an act. And considering how the physics are slightly different, maybe new charts are in order?

Still wish there was a restart option on the pause menu...

It's just the first 30 seconds of a TA, so it's not like it's somewhat of a big deal.

EDIT: Can one submit the same stat to Time and Uber Time? Considering how the wording says that one "may" have a skill for Uber Time but "must not" for Time, technically you could submit the time foe the Time ranking for Uber Time (bur not the other way around if a skill was used in getting the Uber Time).

Do we really need score charts, seeing as they are pretty much time + rings.

Except for Casino Night, unless were actually going to make charts for the stage.

Calm down, calm down (jeez...)

Skills don't really seem to be that big of a deal (except for Last Chance on RA's) since most of them have to do with helping the player out a little when they mess up (except for the one that allows you to boost earlier).

Also, could one submit to Sonic 1 divisions with the in-game version? I noticed that it had a higher framerate than usual, but I don't compete on that game so I wouldn't know how it'll affect stuff.

@Chao_Fan: Since when is easy good?  What the fuck?

I'm not saying that, I'm saying that after spending 50 in game minutes on one stage, I'd expect to get somewhere. Alas, I suck... :(
