Competition Central / Sonic and Knuckles Lava Reef 1 Score
« on: August 23, 2014, 04:11:45 PM »
Hi
I don't know where to put this topic, but here it goes.

Where in the level do you find the respawning combo badnik(s) as Sonic to score so high?

I searched the level and just don't see how that's possible.

Anyone know where that is?

I noticed the score on Hill Top act 1 is over 800k.
How is that possible?

All I know is that every ring is collected and every enemy is defeated.

What is the combo strat to get over 800k in one stage?

Hi
In Sonic and Knuckles,  how do the competitors score so many points in one level?

I have no idea how it is possible.

So can someone tell me how those scores are possible?

Also, I'd like to know where the respawning badnik is in Lava Reef act 1 for Sonic.

Twin Galaxy looking like those "official" sites that have dumb rules with little knowledge of the games themselves.  I thought this place was legit?

It is
Twin Galaxies has set rules to play.
Ex No zips, go through walls, etc

Define "glitch".

No zips, go through walls, etc.

Like if you first played the game.

Hi

I got some high score runs on the Genesis Sonic games.

Sonic 1: 1,071,060

Sonic & Knuckles: 2,120,820

Sonic 3D Blast: 1,447,600

I went by the Twin Galaxies rules.

The rules allowed 5 lives and no glitches.

Hi everyone.
I'm interested in doing no glitch Sonic Genesis records.
I like no glitch better than glitched records.
Any hints or a tips?
I'll try to post my runs somewhere so you guys can see them and point out possible level route improvements.
